Fishing
BACK TO INDEX

Located on the renowned North Fork of the Cache La Poudre River, we are an angler's paradise. In addition to the naturally established population of Brown and Brook trout, we stock catchable size Rainbow Trout annually.

Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch features three improved fishing/casting ponds that are mere footsteps from our restaurant and lodging facilities. They are ideal for the novice angler and a joy to the seasoned angler due to the sheer abundance of trout that they hold.  For the more adventurous, just a short trek from the base facilities places you amongst a maze of beaver ponds ... within whose willows is the home of the wild Colorado Brook Trout.  These creatures are a beautiful and tasty prize for those with the patience and skill to stalk them.  Please note that all streams, sections of river and beaver ponds located west of our Homestead Cabin are reserved for those who are fishing on one of our guided fishing trips.  In addition to the fishing opportunities we offer, there are five public lakes within a fifteen minute drive.

Tackle Sales- So here you are, in the heart of Colorado trout country, and all your fishing gear is at home. No problem!  Our Gift Shop sells rod and reel packages as well as hand tied flies, assorted lures, specialty items and other angler necessities.  The only thing we can't provide is luck, so bring that with you!
