As you enjoy Cross Country Skiing Colorado, relax along the peaceful North Fork River Trail listening to the winter stream or challenge yourself to complete the Cabin Creek - Powderhorn nordic skiing trails in record time. Make a fire to warm yourselves at our warming hut (aka The Homestead
Cabin), located centrally to our trail system or just enjoy a rest at a picnic table when the sun pops out. Enjoy the morning
in the cool, crisp Colorado Rocky Mountains air while exploring the backcountry many
folks have not yet dreamed of. Access to our Cross Country Skiing Colorado trails requires a Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch All-Activity Pass or our 'ALL NEW' Cross Country Ski Pass. even a good chance you might view moose, elk or deer, along with

Skiing Colorado Trails Our nordic ski trail system explores the Roosevelt National Forest by special permit. Our circuit nordic skiing trail system was designed by Olympic skier Larry Martin. Cross Country Skiing Colorado trails are designated beginner, intermediate and expert. The Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch nordic skiing trail system is private and accessible by our ranch acreage only. Our winter destination is in an avalanche free area. Roads to our area are maintained year round and easily accessible. Our Gift Shop rents all the winter equipment necessary to enjoy
our various activities. Fischer is far and away the number one name in Cross

Country Skiing Colorado is said to be one of the last affordable winter
activities. Take a family winter vacation...for a minimal price a family of four can ski
all day and grab a bite to eat. Crosscountry skiing is all about gliding, setting your own
pace and challenging yourself to meet your own goals. The
technique is similar to ice-skating or roller blading. All ability levels
enjoy this winter snow sport.
