Our custom-built, horse-drawn sleigh offers cozy rides for the whole family to enjoy. Boarding the sleigh you cannot help but feel the excitement in the winter chill.
When our voice commanded drafts are given their cue, these awe-inspiring horses start to pull the sleigh out into the meadow. The bells on their harness begin to chime like an old winter carol.
Once on our horse drawn sleigh you'll realize that what you are doing is truly a unique experience that you will remember for the rest of time.

We will use the sleigh or wagon as appropriate per weather conditions. A minimum, 48-hour advanced reservation is required for all sleigh rides.
- The
Meadow Tour Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride is a fifteen to twenty-five minute sleigh
ride through our forested
lanes and along the North Fork of the Cache La Poudre River.
- The Hot Chocolate & Cookie Horse Drawn
Sleigh Ride
allows you to experience a real
Colorado Rocky Mountain family adventure. Take a 12-20 minute sleigh
ride through our meadow
and private forest lanes out to our rustic Homestead Cabin where you will relax around
the fire and help yourself to cookies and hot chocolate
while you visit with family and friends. We've even got a little
craft table set up for the kids! Then, enjoy the same return
route back to our base facilities. Although our Homestead
Cabin does not have running water or electricity, there is an
outhouse located nearby.
- The Cowboy Lunch Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride is a delightful way
to enjoy lunch at our rustic Homestead Cabin. Fill up
with Cowboy Stew and cornbread along
with coffee, hot cider and hot chocolate. Make
sure to save room for cookies for dessert.

- The Cut Your Own Christmas Tree Horse
Drawn Sleigh Ride
is a one of a kind Christmas family adventure. Bring your family and friends along for a sleigh ride in search of the perfect Christmas tree on your 12-20 minute sleigh ride out to our rustic Homestead Cabin where you cut down your own tree and then relax around the fire and help yourself to cookies and hot chocolate while you visit with friends.
Then, cuddle under warm blankets as our draft horses pull your tree home with you on the sleigh, back to our base facilities. Although our Homestead Cabin does not have running water or electricity, there is an outhouse located nearby.

Bundle up and enjoy the untouched winter landscape from a higher vantage point. Beaver Meadows experienced stable wranglers will guide you along private roads within our 840 acre Resort Ranch.
You will be in awe of the turquoise blue sky and a forest of green frosted with white. Be sure to dress warm, wear gloves and a secure hat! All rides are offered with weather and conditions permitting.
