DUDE RANCH HUNTING & FALL TOURS
For Hunting Colorado Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch, a Colorado
Dude Ranch and Winter Resort, is located in
the midst of the 300,000 acre Roosevelt National Forest. Here
in the heart of
deer, elk, moose and bear country, Hunting Colorado is at it's best.
When you stay with us, on our 840 acre ranch, you automatically
have easy private property access to the Roosevelt National Forest.
Sight in your gun here on our ranch or in the National Forest.
We know the country and where the deer,
elk and other game are likely to be.
For all you folk interested in Hunting Colorado, note
that we are central
to hunting unit #8. Units #7 and #191 all border unit #8 and are not
too far from us. CLICK HERE FOR DESCRIPTIONS OF THE ABOVE BIG GAME HUNTING GAME MANAGEMENT
UNITS. We have maps available here and we'll
be sure to give you a brief orientation to the area upon your arrival. We recommend
the following maps: USGS Map, Arapaho and Roosevelt National
Forest Map and National Geographic Topo Map #111 for the Red Feather
Lakes and Glendevey area. On these maps, we're often referred
to as the Painted Post Ranch (our name from the 1960s and 1970s).
And, we're adjacent to the Deadman area.
For Hunting Lodging and Hunting Cabins we offer a variety of accommodations,
including our lodge, cabins, cottages and condominiums, all including satellite
TV, microwaves, hot showers and coffee
makers for early risers. We also offer
campsites, some with outdoor horse paddocks, so you can set up your own camp
with wall tents and even bring your own horses and pack string. Out
in our campground we've also got a couple of rustic hunting
cabins, one
equipped with a wood heat
stove and antique cook stove. Although our campground is not equipped
with hook-ups or running water, our campers can shower up and fill
up containers with potable water at our base facilities. Also
at our base facilities, is our full service restaurant & bar,
the Ranch House Restaurant. There you can gather with others
Hunting Colorado to brag and tell stories of the one that got away!
